simple Eye Cream, Simple Result

Remember my last review on an eye cream? Since the 'high-quality' eye cream is such an eyesore (at least to me), this time around I decided to turn to a rather affordable tube of eye cream; simple REGENERATION age resisting EYE CREAM Phew, lengthy!

Priced about Rm15-19++. Made in UK

Retails at no more than RM20 (sorry for my bad memory, I bought this product 2 months ago), this UK drugstore brand promises to "repair and protect the delicate skin around the eyes" as well as "fights premature aging" with its "Green Tea goodness". No promises on fighting dark circle whatsoever therefore even after more than 2 months of using this eye cream, twice daily, my raccoon eyes remains dark and dull.

However, I do notice that my eye areas are well moisturized and at least, the minuscule wrinkle that I used to have on the corner of my right eyelid is gone. Not bad at all for a cheap tube! So ladies, wait no more and go to the nearest Watson's and grab one simple REGENERATION age resisting EYE CREAM 15ml tube, if you're looking for a decent anti-ageing eye cream that's it!

School's out, I'm in!

It's school holiday~ which means, I'm back to blogging! ^o^ As the Internet connection is less crappy here, and I don't feel like shopping every single day, (since I can't really afford to, by the way) I might as well stay home like good girls do so expect to see more beauty reviews, random rants and even more random pics throughout December.

Speaking of shopping, yesterday I went to my neighbouring Jusco to grab the latest issue of my fave mags. What was supposed to be a brief MPH trip ended up in impulse buying (typical HaNNa) Apparently Jusco's beauty dept was having a clearance sale for Revlon and Silkygirl. You know, those sales where they dump old items fit to be buried deep in huge garbage bins.?I thought I was strong enough.....until I spotted a RM3 nail polish. "Oh well, it's only RM3." So what did I eventually get?

Total damage? A mere RM11. Heheee~

ALCON Hamper, Porky Incident

Since I haven't won myself anything for more than a month now, I might as well cheer myself up with this post just to remind me of some wonderful gifts I got from one of my favourite magazines. Yes dear, that's the reason of my constant absence in blogsphere, I've been busy indulging myself in the cheapest source of indulgence; beauty mags.

Alcon OPTI FREE hamper worth RM100 (yeah right, 100 bucks my toenail)

Just few months back, I received a letter notifying me that I was one of the winners for this particular contest in a local mag. (Thinking back, I haven't won anything from CLEO for ages. Boo-hoo CLEO!) As you can see from this picture, I got a brown bag full of ALCON goodies. I was so happy to receive these products as I've never tried any Alcon products before.

To date, I'm using the OPTI-FREE Replenish solution (extreme right), Systane Lubricant Eye Drops (extreme left) and CLENS 100 Lens Drop. So far, I love OPTI-FREE solution but too bad the ones from FreshKon offered me much better value (what not with free flask, thehee) during my recent trip to Guardians. As for the eye drops, I think both products are decent.

Did anyone notice anything yet by now? Aw c'mon, it's pretty obvious there in the pic...........Okay if u still couldn't spot a thing, lemme just tell you that the OPTIFREE Supra Clens One Drop Protein Remover is NON-HALAL. (Second from right) Thank God there is an obvious 'Non-Halal' sticker there right on top of the outer packaging. At least the promoter was being sensitive towards Muslim readers.

Beware! Contains porcine pancreatin enzymes. LOL~ -0-

So what's the culprit here? Well according to the packaging itself, this product contains 'highly purified' porcine pancreatin enzymes. LOL thank God we have a doctor in my family or else I still didn't know till know what on earth is porcine pancreatine yadda yadda. My big bro and I just laughed ourselves silly.

Thanks to this porky incident, I'm know more aware of beauty and lens care ingredients & as for the lens drop? Well I just put it up for swap on my MUA swap list. Coz one man's unwanted porcine pancreatin enzymes is another man's treasure.

Random rant on the rainy day....

Hey hey and how's everybody? I know I've been missing for more than a fortnight in blogsphere, been busy with work and...lazying around (to be unshamelessly honest) By lazing around, I mean catching up on TV (thank you housemate for Astro & flatscreen LCD!) and magazines and playing around with my expanding makeups, which mostly I got from numerous beauty swaps. As for work, Sports Day ended just few hours ago with muddy field and darker skin (thank you scorching sun) Not that I bother so much since my naturally dark skin gets burn rather slow compared to my fairer collagues, heheee.

I'm gonna be off (again!) for a while to enjoy my weekends on a Family Day in A'Famosa, Malacca. Of course, what's a random rant without a random pic? Here's a group pic with my former secondary school mates during my best friend's wedding reception in September.

Personally, I think this is a decently beautiful picture, but what is cool about this pic, at least in my opinion, is despite using a mere compact digicam, the boyfriend of Fifi (that's my toehr bestie, extreme right in this pic) managed to capture the glowing moment. Thank you Fifi's boyfriend!

Mimoo & Panther(a)

If you've read my previous, previous post before, you must have known that Moomoo, my family's underage kitty was heavily pregger. Fast forward to two months, Moomoo is now a petite mom of five healthy kittens. Since the five of 'em are always everywhere and group pic sounds impossible, here's a random picture post to make my day. Hopefully it'll make yours too. ^_^

"We sisters stick together...no matter what!"

That's Mimoo (mini Moomoo, got it?) and Panther. Or is it Panthera? Coz when we first saw his (or her) jet black coat, all we could think of is panther! Obviously their mum's gene is prominent there. = D
